- Painted items should be cleaned with a soft cloth. Water spillages should be wiped up immediately. It may be necessary to repaint your item periodically to maintain its finish.
- Unpainted steel items. The majority of our arches are supplied unpainted. These will eventually rust to a lovely soft brown colour. If you prefer to maintain the original finish you can periodically clean and treat the steel with an oil or a spray such as WD40. They can also be painted with a range of suitable paint finishes.
- Stainless steel items such as our Meadow Troughs should be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. The use of an abrasive may damage the exterior brushed finish.
- All of our products are designed in house here in the UK.
- The majority of our products are fabricated in our workshop in Somerset.
- Some items such as the Meadow Troughs are fabricated by a trusted local sheet metal specialist.
- We predominantly work with mild steel and stainless steel.
- We can also work with other materials if required; such as wood and plastics.
- The majority of our raw steel materials are sourced from UK origins.
- Some materials originate from Europe.
- All of our waste steel is either repurposed or recycled.
- We have an arrangement with a local artist who uses some of our waste materials in sculptural artwork.
- We try our hardest to minimise the purchase of single use plastics.
- We actively discourage the use of Floral Foam by offering creative mechanical alternatives.
- You may find plastics used inside your order as void fill packaging. The majority of these packaging materials are recycled from a number of sources. We have an arrangement with a local business that save some of their clean waste plastics which we reuse as packaging materials. We hope if you receive these that you will also consider reusing as packaging materials in the future to minimise the plastics entering landfill.
